I am a technical program manager at Google working on Android.
I worked as release and program manager and head of quality assurance and testing at Bump Technologies. I tested BumpTop to ensure a good experience in the field, managed our webserver and performed a variety of other IT-related tasks, managed our beta user program, provided customer support, and wrote code for BumpTop.
Additionally, I am a registered member of the Microsoft Partner Program, and I am an IT consultant for businesses in Toronto, Canada. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional, and am also a registered Microsoft Technical Beta tester. I have extensive experience architecting, implementing and supporting Microsoft Exchange (5.5, 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010 with 500+ mailboxes), SQL Server (~8GB DB size), ISA Server/Threat Management Gateway (300+ SecureNAT clients), Office SharePoint Server, as well as the Windows Server and Windows desktop clients.
I completed my masters degree in February 2009 in human-computer interaction and ubiquitous computing (Computer Science) under Dr. Khai Truong in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. I received my Bachelor of Computing (Honours) degree from Queen's University in 2007. I am alumni of the Toronto Ubiquitous Research lab and the Dynamic Graphics Project.
My masters thesis was entitled Exploring and Improving User Security Choices on Home Wireless Networks, PDF and source code available upon request. Part of this work was published at SOUPS 2010 (pdf).
I have been a member of the Royal Saint George’s College choir (1995-2003) and Queen’s Choral Ensemble (2003-2007, Bass section lead). I have also helped lead Sunday morning worship Don Mills Baptist Church. I presently attend South Bay Church in Santa Clara, California.
