I recently had the wonderful opportunity to use another Gateway laptop.

This time, the power supply was so big, and generated so much heat, it had its own cooling fan.

I have searched all over the web and I cannot find a picture - but I imagine it must be the Gateway Laptop Power Supply - rated for 150W - enough to power a small desktop.

Isn't it just so wonderful? Can you imagine the heat that that laptop must pump out, if the POWER SUPPLY ITSELF must need a cooling fan just to KEEP UP?

Ubiquitous computing - the ability to "compute" anywhere.  I wonder if you could do that with a 10lb Gateway 'laptop'?  Oops - be careful! You mustn't put that on your lap - you're blocking the air vent and you'll get 3rd degree burns!
